"Unveiling Contemporary Endodontic Outcomes: Navigating Best Available Research to Inform Treatment Decisions"
Summary:
The cornerstone of evidence-based decision-making in endodontics relies on the critical analysis of relevant and methodologically rigorous studies. Understanding prognostic outcomes in contemporary endodontics is essential for making informed treatment choices. However, there is observed variability in endodontic outcome research, partly due to outdated practices that do not align with contemporary endodontic care. In the current era, endodontics has undergone significant evolution thanks to recent advancements in tools and technologies. This contemporary toolkit facilitates the management of complex cases, marking a departure from conventional methods and highlighting the incorporation of state-of-the-art equipment and techniques in endodontic practice. This session aims to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date review of contemporary endodontics by analyzing robust research to understand expected outcomes and identify critical prognostic factors. The primary goal is to equip clinicians with the knowledge needed to make informed treatment decisions, thus contributing to improved long-term outcomes in endodontic care.
